# Differential Equations Definition/Meaning:

Equations for one or more unknown functions involving derivatives of those functions. The equations describe changes in a system, usually modeling some physical or other law. Except in simple cases the solution cannot be determined analytically. See ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations.
