Logical Value (Boolean value) Definition/Meaning:
Either of the two values true and false that
indicate a truth value. Although a single bit is the most obvious computer
storage structure that can be applied to logical data, larger units of store,
such as a byte, are frequently used in practice since they can be addressed
distinctly.
Logic analyzer An electronic instrument that monitors the logic states of
digital systems and stores the results for subsequent display. The storage of
data is initiated in the analyzer by the recognition of preset "trigger states"
as these arise in the system under test. Synchronous analyzers sample data at
intervals determined entirely by the external system. Asynchronous analyzers
sample at intervals determined internally by the analyzer.
