Menu Definition/Meaning:  

A displayed list from which a choice can be made. The list of options may be displayed with a single code opposite each. The selection may then be made by keying the single code. The method provides a simple way of guiding a user through a complex situation by presenting a sequence of simpler decisions. Although a visual display and keyboard are frequently used for this purpose, other arrangements, such as visual displays with touch-sensitive screens or light pens and arrays of touch-sensitive LEDs, are available.
