What is semantic object?

The word semantic means "meaning" and semantic object is one that represents "the meaning of the user's data". CAR, COMPUTER, STUDENT are examples of objects. The word semantic is used along with the object to distinguish objects used in semantic model from the objects defined in object-oriented programming (OOP) languages.
