What is display screen?

output device. It is used as softcopy output device. The output may be in the
form of text, graphics and video.

A display screen must have a video display adapter attached with the computer.
It is used to display output in the form of graphics. Video display adapter is
also known as video graphics card. It is a circuit board that determines the
resolution, number of colors, and speed with which images appear on the display
screen.
